This is the plain-English version, because that is the only version worth having. It covers what we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and who else sees it. The short answer: we collect what we need to do the job, and we do not sell it to anyone.
This policy applies to Kiley Plumbing & Heating, a family-owned plumbing and heating company based in Holliston, Massachusetts, and to this website, kileyplumbing.com. It covers information you give us by phone, by text message, through a form on this site, or when you book a service visit online.
Here is the complete list:
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your date of birth, or your bank login. If a request for anything like that ever appears to come from us, it did not come from us.
Your information is used for four things:
That is the whole list. It is not used to profile you, score you, target advertising at you, or build an audience that gets sold to anybody.
Two kinds of outside company handle your information, and both do it on our behalf so that we can do the work: the messaging provider that actually delivers text messages to your phone, and the scheduling and payment software the business runs on, which holds your job record and your invoice.
Nobody else. Your information is never sold, never rented, and never handed to advertisers, data brokers, or lead-generation companies.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
SMS opt-in data means your phone number and the record of how we came to have permission to text you. That permission comes from one place only: you called (508) 429-2888 and did not reach anyone, so we texted you back. It is never bought, never sold, and never passed along.
Your phone number and your consent are not shared with any third party for their own marketing, and they are not shared with affiliates for marketing either. The messaging provider that delivers the texts sees them only so the message can reach your phone. The full detail of how the texting works — what we send, how often, and how to stop it — is on our text messaging terms page.
Job records, messages, and photos are generally kept for up to two years — long enough to be useful for the work, the warranty, and our business records — and then they are deleted.
Opt-out records are the one exception. If you tell us to stop texting you, we keep that record longer than two years, because the only way to be certain we never contact you again is to remember that you asked us not to.
If you would like your information deleted sooner, email bobbyk@kileyplumbing.com and ask. We will take care of it.

We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. Your browser settings can block or clear these cookies at any time, and the site will keep working normally if you do.
