What's included

Real water improvements, not gimmicks.

Water filtration is one of those areas where homeowners get oversold every day. We test your water on-site, identify the actual problem (hardness, iron, chlorine, sediment, taste), and recommend a system sized to the real chemistry. If you don't need a system, we'll tell you that too.

For town-water homes in Holliston, Framingham, Natick, and Ashland the most common needs are a basic carbon whole-house filter (for chlorine and taste) and a small softener (for moderate hardness). For well-water homes in Sherborn, Dover, Wayland, and Upton, we frequently install combined softener-and-iron-filter systems sized to the bore's chemistry, plus an RO unit for drinking water.

Every install includes proper sizing, a bypass valve so you can service the unit without shutting down the house, and a walkthrough on regeneration cycles, salt, and filter changes. We also offer ongoing service plans so you don't have to think about it.

FAQ

Filtration FAQ.

Do I really need a water softener in Metrowest?
It depends on your water source. Town water (Holliston, Framingham, Natick) is generally moderate. Wells in Sherborn, Dover, and Wayland often test much harder, with iron or manganese as common problems. We test on-site and recommend honestly.
What's the difference between a softener and a whole-house filter?
A softener removes calcium and magnesium (the minerals that cause scale). A whole-house filter typically targets sediment, chlorine, taste, or specific contaminants like iron. Many Metrowest homes need both.
Where does an RO system get installed?
Under the kitchen sink with a dedicated drinking-water faucet on the countertop. We can also tie an RO system into a fridge water line for filtered ice and dispensed water.
How often does a softener need salt?
Most family-of-four softeners use 30–50 pounds per month, depending on hardness and usage. We size the unit so you're not refilling weekly.
Can you handle iron staining in well water?
Yes. Iron and manganese stains in laundry, fixtures, and toilets are common in Sherborn, Dover, and rural Wayland wells. We test, then specify a unit (often a softener with iron removal or a dedicated iron filter) sized to the actual water chemistry.
