Water filtration is one of those areas where homeowners get oversold every day. We test your water, identify the actual problem (hardness, iron, chlorine, sediment, taste), and recommend a system sized to the real chemistry. If you don't need a system, we'll tell you that too.
On testing, there are two things we do. We check hardness, iron, pH, and chlorine on-site while we're at the house. And we can collect a water sample and send it out through our supplier to a testing company for a full water-chemistry panel — the results come back to you along with recommendations. For town-water homes in Holliston, Framingham, Natick, and Ashland the most common needs are a basic carbon whole-house filter (for chlorine and taste) and a small softener (for moderate hardness). For well-water homes in Sherborn, Dover, Wayland, and Upton, we frequently install combined softener-and-iron-filter systems sized to the bore's chemistry, plus an under-sink RO unit for drinking water.
Every install includes proper sizing and a bypass valve so you can service the unit without shutting down the house. We also offer ongoing service plans so you don't have to think about it.

Those two lists are separate on purpose. Whole-house equipment treats the house; reverse osmosis treats the one tap it is plumbed to. We do not install whole-house reverse osmosis — an RO membrane produces water slowly and sends some to drain, which suits a drinking faucet rather than a whole home's flow demand. That is also why contaminants like PFAS, fluoride, and lead get addressed at the kitchen tap rather than at the main.
