Bathroom remodels

Plumbing your bath remodel deserves.

Bath remodels are where plumbing meets every other trade — framers, electricians, tilers, GCs. Get the rough-in wrong and the whole job gets delayed: tile can't go down, drywall can't go up, the vanity doesn't fit. Kiley shows up on the day we say we will, finishes rough-in before drywall, and comes back for finish work when fixtures and tile are ready.

We handle the full scope — relocating supply lines and drains, installing pressure-balanced shower valves, setting tubs and shower pans, installing tile-ready niches and benches, finish-installing vanities and toilets, hooking up fixtures, and pressure-testing before tile and drywall close in.

Kitchen remodels

Kitchen plumbing, reconfigured.

For kitchens we add fixtures (pot fillers, prep sinks, instant-hot dispensers, RO drinking water), reroute drain lines for new island or peninsula sinks, run gas for new ranges and ovens, and refit dishwasher and disposal lines. If you're moving the sink across the room or adding a wet bar, the venting and slope have to be planned carefully — and that's where Kiley earns its keep.

We coordinate with your cabinet installer so the rough-in lines exit cabinets where they should, the disposal switch is where you want it, and the appliance shut-offs are accessible without pulling everything out.

Fixture work & smaller renovations

Or just the finish work.

Not every renovation is a full remodel. Sometimes it's upgrading a powder-room faucet and toilet, replacing a corroded shut-off, swapping an old single-handle shower valve for code-compliant pressure-balanced, or hooking up the dishwasher the GC didn't finish. Kiley handles those one-visit jobs cleanly, with the right shut-offs, level fixtures, and no callbacks.

FAQ

Remodel FAQ.

Do you work directly with my contractor?
Yes. We work alongside general contractors, designers, and homeowners depending on the project. We coordinate on schedule, sequencing, and inspection so the GC isn't waiting on us and we're not waiting on them.
Can you move plumbing fixtures during a remodel?
Yes — that's most of what remodel plumbing is. Reconfiguring a vanity to a different wall, moving a tub, splitting a half bath into a full bath, relocating a kitchen sink to a new island. We handle supply, drain, and venting changes and pull the permit.
Will my remodel need a permit?
Anything more than a like-for-like fixture swap typically requires a plumbing permit in Massachusetts. We pull and document permits in your town.
Can you install a faucet or fixture I bought myself?
Yes. We install homeowner-supplied fixtures regularly. We do recommend higher-quality brands (Moen, Delta, Kohler, Hansgrohe) because the time spent reinstalling a low-end fixture that fails in a year usually costs more than buying right the first time.
Do you handle radiant floor heat in a bathroom remodel?
On the plumbing side — yes, for hydronic radiant systems we install and connect the loops. For electric radiant mats we coordinate with your electrician.
How long does the plumbing portion of a bath remodel take?
Rough-in (after demo, before drywall) typically takes 1–3 days for a standard bath. Finish work after tile and fixtures arrive is another 1–2 days. We schedule both stages with your GC.
