From the slow bathroom sink that takes forever to drain, to a main sewer line that's suddenly backed up — Kiley diagnoses the cause and clears it. We use the right tool for the pipe, and we'll tell you whether a recurrence is likely.
A clogged drain is rarely just a clogged drain. The location of the blockage, how long it's been getting worse, what fixtures back up at the same time — all of those tell you whether it's a local trap, a branch line, a vent issue, or something deeper in the main. Kiley diagnoses first, then clears.
We carry sectional drain machines for sink and tub lines, larger main-line machines for sewers and floor drains, and we coordinate sewer-camera inspections when something deeper is suspected. Most residential drain calls are diagnosed and cleared on the first visit.
We see a lot of older Metrowest neighborhoods with original cast iron drain stacks and clay sewer mains. Both have failure patterns we know — cast iron rots from the bottom of the pipe, clay separates at joints and lets roots in. Where appropriate, we'll show you what the camera saw and explain whether long-term repair is the smarter spend.
We test fixtures and trace which line is affected. Often the wrong drain gets snaked because the symptom is downstream.
Branch lines get sectional cable. Mains get a larger machine. Severe cases get camera and possible jetting.
We run the line clear past the blockage and verify with running water from upstream fixtures.
If the blockage is recurring or symptomatic of a bigger issue (roots, broken pipe), we explain options.
